Yiki from China says about project "Ayanna 4.0"

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore dream discover.  So I come to Sri Lanka,a country in my dream.

Sri Lanka in Chinese “斯里兰卡”. What a beautiful name!  It is Nishadi who interviewed me in skype, though the network is poor, she always smile to me. I remember her big eyes and beautiful smile. That’s my first impression of Sri Lanka people.

This trip was a deep immersion into Sri Lanka culture and life! When the first we came here, I can’t eat the food so spicy, I can’t drink the tea with so many sugar, I can’t adapt so many people look at you when you walk in the street, I can’t understand their language also most of local people can’t understand English . During the 40 days, everything have been changed. We enjoy the people smile with you friendly when you walk, we love to eat traditional food love to drink milk tea.

When I chose project, I made a decision , I want to join an education project. I thought teaching poor areas’ children is a very meaningful thing. The children makes me moved time and time again. Most of our students are quite and clever .Just several are very naughty but also lovely. Though the small village is not very rich, I can still feel their optimistic heart in hard life. Everyday we come to school, all the students come out to welcome us,all of class gave me loving eyes. we teach them some new words ,they will try their best to learn and remember. The relationship between I and they were very close in daily life. We often played games together. Furthermore, every student is very polite. They met us to say ”hello” with smile every time.

The last week we came to school ,many students say to us “no china”,I can’t understand what they said. After Nishan’s translation, I know they said ”don’t go back china”. I can’t help crying. Their beautiful smile , pure heart is the most precious thing in the world.

It is hard for us to say “goodbye”, to the lovely students, to the friendly local people, to the amazing scenery.

Thank you all the members in CN. Thank you Nishadi, it is you chose me that I can join this project. Thank you for answering me endless questions with patient every time. Thank you Fahim, I know as a team leader you have a lot of responsibility, you also try your best to help us. Thank you Nishan, always company with us. Thank you Hishan and Dhanidu, nice to meet you two so excellent VP. Hope we can be good friends in the future. Many kisses and hugs to you all. Nothing would happen without you all.

It is my second home, I never forget every moments here. Miss you all.
