Exchange Participant - Project Explore Sri Lanka 4.0

This summer I participated on an AIESEC project organized by AIESEC Colombo North called Explore Sri Lanka 4.0. I and seven other EPs from different countries were travelling almost all over the country to make photos and videos. While travelling we were always supported by at least one member from AIESEC, who helped us to navigate and communicate with local people. Our project was well-planed and organized we had a good mix of days of travelling, free days and documentary days.Our accommodation place was well-chosen we had everything we needed it full filled all so called western standards.

All in all the organization of the project was great also the final exhibition showed how much energy and work the members of AIESEC put in this project that’s one of the reasons why this exhibition was such an success. Besides the organization I made some great experience. I saw amazing places and the varied sides of Sri Lanka, from beautiful beaches, golden temples, chaotic Colombo, tea plants, elephants to a governmental hospital. 

I don´t regret to see any of this places and I don´t want to miss them in my memories. I also met amazing people not only from Sri Lanka but from all over the world. It is wonderful to recognize, that although all of the EPs come from other countries with different language, habits and values you get along with each other even more you became friends. I had a wonderful time, saw places, which inspired me, get to know myself better and made some friends. I would say I´ve done everything right to be a part of Explore Sri Lanka 4.0.
